Abstract

A BHR process was implemented in a suburban ED on the 7:00 AM, 3:00 PM, and 11:00 PM shift changes to improve communication and patient experience. Nurse perceptions of care quality were explored using a survey with a four-point Likert scale, and nurse compliance with the program was evaluated with a self-auditing tool.
