Abstract

This DNP capstone project provides evidence that adding a hands-on educational initiative regarding the use of capnography to a group of nurses who administer procedural sedation will promote the use of capnography. This initiative provided nurses who administer procedural sedation the insight needed to understand the importance capnography can have on improving patient outcomes.
