Abstract

Objectives: - Identify 3 risk factors for VTE in a hospitalized patient. - Identify proper documentation for SCD use. - Document informed refusal when patients refuse VTE prophylaxis. - Verbalize calling the provider when VTE prophylaxis is not ordered on a patient without documented contraindications.
