Abstract

Instruction and training for an MCI event is vital to the health of our communities. Mock training scenarios can be expensive and difficult to coordinate. Cost effective didactive teaching with table top exercises is a passive learning technique that is inadequate for this critical training. The objective of our project is to implement and assess the impact of active learning, case based learning and team based strategies using a MCI Escape Room for emergency nurse.
