Abstract
The participation of the family in nursing care is influenced by the behaviors and attitudes of Nurses about the importance of including families in nursing care. Being the attitudes, organized expressions of feelings, beliefs and values, they reveal the tendency of the person to behave in a certain way. The inventory of nurses' attitudes and the study of their relationship with the professional category, will facilitate the recognition of areas susceptible to intervention in the training for anticipatory care that generates health gains.
