Institutional model to reduce anxiety and promote flourishing in an associate degree nursing program
Abstract
This study aims to provide evidence-based prevention and intervention to at-risk nursing students. The study hopes to contribute to the existing literature by examining a trauma-based interventional approach to reduce anxiety, build self-efficacy and promote student retention. It also investigates to what extent QiGong practice intermixed with mindfulness acceptance group therapy improves coping and promotes flourishing among nursing students.
