Governance: The role of nursing in sustaining global health

Abstract

This session explores the concept of governance and highlights professional practice model components. Care delivery models give nurses responsibility for provision of patient care, yet they are often without voice. Selected aspects of the ways in which nursing governance gives voice to nurse leaders as they work to deliver sustainable results will be detailed.
