Abstract

The primary aim of the project was to identify whether financial assistance in the form of product vouchers for non-dairy (later expanded to include dairy) or commercially available thickeners impacts the time from initial recommendation to identification of a tolerated product. A secondary aim included identifying whether financial assistance in the form of product vouchers for non-dairy (later expanded to include dairy) beverages or commercially available thickeners impacts insurance coverage.

Description

Dr. Carr was the recipient of the Health Equity Grant for Research and EBP, Addressing Social Determinants of Health from the DAISY Foundation.
