Abstract

The continual need in nursing education to assess the clarity, quality and accuracy of evaluation methods in student work often leads to changes in rubric redesign for evaluation. Faculty and students faced with changes in evaluation methods may have varying levels of satisfaction with these changes. This article outlines steps taken in the development of a threaded discussion rubric.

Description

Based on feedback from the pilot, the task force recommended implementation of the revised grading rubric for the threaded discussions. The recommendation was approved by the faculty and the curriculum committee and implemented in the September 2016 session for all courses in the MSN program.
