Abstract
Now more than ever it is apparent that nurses are natural healthcare leaders and a fundamental link in using the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to improve health and decrease disparities. Join our United Nations Liaisons and Youth Representatives to learn about what Sigma is doing at the United Nations with special emphasis on SDG 3, Good Health and Well-Being and SDG 5, Gender Equality. They will discuss how you can get involved locally and globally, and how to translate the SDGs into your practice.
Learning Outcome: At the conclusion of the webinar, participants will be able to identify and describe the nurse's role in local and global health utilizing the Sustainable Development Goals.
