Abstract
Nurses continue to be at the forefront delivery of care for the world's population, representing more than half the world's workforce yet holding only 25% of senior management positions. Preparation of early career nurses is essential to the future of global health. Investment in professional development made during the first years of a nurse's career sets the path of their leadership trajectory. Early career nurses can gain the leadership skills and experiences through effective training. This session will share the training model used by Nursing Now in the global Nightingale Challenge and Sigma Nursing's offering to the Nightingale Challenge participants.
