Abstract
The purpose of the proposed longitudinal observational study was to: 1) investigate the relationship between variations in neonatal diet type and incidence of feeding intolerance, necrotizing enterocolitis, and malnutrition in a retrospective cohort; and 2) describe study feasibility and explore associations between neonatal diet and gut microbiome composition in a prospective cohort.
