Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of a psycho-educational intervention (PEI) on psychological distress, anxiety, depression, coping, fatigue, and quality of life. We hypothesized that the psycho-educational intervention would: 1) decrease psychological distress, stress, anxiety, depression, and fatigue among advanced cancer patients; and 2) improve quality of life.
