Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing & Health Sciences has a mission to provide excellence in professional nursing and healthcare career education. The faculty and students of Blessing-Rieman are excited to showcase their excellence as well as dedication to the profession of nursing by sharing a repository of scholarly work. The items include select undergrad and graduate-level capstones and scholarly projects that have been reviewed by Blessing-Rieman faculty for inclusion into the repository.

Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing & Health Sciences is a private, not-for-profit college founded in 1891 as a diploma school in nursing. In 1985, it became an accredited four-year college offering a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing with partner Culver-Stockton College. Quincy University was added as a partner in 1998. A Master of Science in Nursing Degree began in 2007. The online RN-BSN, and MSN degrees, as well as a Second Degree transfer option, are offered solely by Blessing-Rieman. The Associate of Science in Respiratory Care Program began in 2015, and the Associate of Science in Health Information Management Program began in 2018.

The Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing/Master’s degree in nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), One DuPont Circle, NW, Suite 530, Washington DC 20036-1120. The baccalaureate-nursing program is approved by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), and is fully approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing. The respiratory care program has provisional accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC). The Higher Learning Commission (HLC), and a member of the North Central Association (NCA) accredit the College.
