Abstract

Food insecurity means that one lacks reliable access to food that is nutritious and affordable. It has deleterious outcomes for children's growth and is associated with both underweight and overweight among vulnerable populations. This project describes weight outcomes among Hispanic children and mothers who experience food insecurity.
