Abstract

From observations at an Australian antenatal clinic, the presenter frankly identifies barriers to adolescents' early and continuing antenatal attendance. Furthermore discusses insider information from this group to highlight their understanding of antenatal care, the role of midwives in its provision hence increasing relevant engagement and clinical outcomes for this group.
