Abstract

The Editors of the Journal of Nursing Scholarship and Worldviews on Evidence-Based Nursing, both well-published nurse researchers will present this session on getting published. The presentation will cover tips for planning and writing manuscripts, including deciding on the kind of manuscript, following author guidelines, formatting, and thinking about target audience.

Susan Gennaro, PhD, RN, FAAN - Dr. Gennaro is Dean and Professor at the William F. Connell School of Nursing and the Editor of the Journal of Nursing Scholarship for the past 7 years. Bernadette Mazurek Melnyk, PhD, RN, CPNP/PMHNP, FAANP, FNAP, FAAN - Dr. Melnyk is recognized nationally/globally for her research-based and innovative approaches to a wide range of health care challenges - is Associate Vice President for Health Promotion, University Chief Wellness Officer, and Professor and Dean of the College of Nursing at The Ohio State University. Also a professor of pediatrics and psychiatry at OSU's College of Medicine, Dr. Melnyk's expertise spans evidence-based practice, intervention research, child and adolescent mental health, and health and wellness.
