Abstract
Breast cancer impacts many women throughout the world. As nurses, health promotion and disease prevention are emphasized to all populations. In an effort to understand rural populations and their belief system, an interdisciplinary, feasibility study was developed to impact under-served, rural, African American women regarding breast cancer early detection.
