Abstract

When and how to mobilize stroke patients in the early, hospital period remains controversial. We surveyed an interdisciplinary team of stroke providers about their perceptions of early mobilization after stroke. Results suggest uncertainty related to physiological issues such as orthostasis and the deep vein thrombosis (VTE).
