Abstract

Recognize the importance of mission and values in fostering cultural sensitivity, and appreciation of diversity. Discuss evidence based interventions that promote intercultural understanding in the teaching-learning process that includes multiple world views, experiences, and power structures. Contrast healthcare delivery systems, and roles of health professionals and liaisons in health promotion.
