Abstract

Mentoring is an essential component of succession planning in nursing at all levels; at its heart is the transpersonal relationship transforming personal and professional growth for all involved. We explore our experience developing, implementing and managing a nurse mentoring program for all levels of nursing based on a caring philosophy.
