Evaluating family presence in the clinical setting

Abstract

This integrative review explored two questions: family perception of being present at a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR); and family experience with being present during CPR. Twelve studies met the inclusion criteria. This review supports the need for hospital policy regarding family presence during CPR.
