Abstract
Necrotizing Enterocolitis is one of the leading causes of mortality in premature or low-birth-weight infants. Research suggests that the use of probiotics may reduce the incidence of Necrotizing Enterocolitis in premature infants; the aim of this integrative review is to test the validity of this claim.
