Abstract

As literature reveals that inefficient communication is a contributing factor to adverse events, communication boards has been an intervention implemented to help increase family/patient understanding of the plan of care. Thirty-three parents/caregivers and twenty-six health care professionals participated in a study that looked at the usefulness of communication boards.
