Abstract
Therapeutic communication is related to higher quality nursing care and more favorable patient outcomes, yet many nurses do not possess or utilize effective therapeutic communication skills. This experimental study examined the effectiveness of two low-cost interventions in increasing nursing students' demonstration of therapeutic communication.
