Abstract

In recent years, an increased use of observers has put a strain on nursing resources. An alternative, continuous virtual monitoring is an effective strategy to maintain patient safety and improve nursing budgets, however, there continues to be variable receptivity. This qualitative study examined nurse perceptions of continuous virtual monitoring.
