Abstract

Limited health literacy is associated with poorer health outcomes, and increased healthcare costs. This study examined the knowledge and experience of first semester Family Nurse Practitioner students. Results showed FNP students have some health literacy knowledge and experience but significant gaps exist in both health literacy knowledge and experience.
