Abstract

Traditional communities undergo the challenges of change in family lifestyle, gender roles and social norms; and these changes strongly influence adolescent sexually. Family dynamics combined with cultural taboos conflict with adolescents' changing social beliefs, formulated by daily exposure to modern culture. New theories describing these dynamics are needed.
