Abstract
The study explores, nursing students' opinions on clinical nursing experiences at AIIMS, Rishikesh, India. Four main themes emerged, i.e. a supportive clinical environment facilitates effective learning; reality is very different from what is expected; too much written assignment hindered learning in clinical area; bedside clinical teaching enhances better learning.
