Abstract

If health professionals (HPs) can initiate advance care planning (ACP) with patients and assist them in signing advance directives (AD), patients may avoid facing medical futility. However, the overall rate of AD completion in Taiwan is relatively low. Therefore, the barriers in ACP with patients (CKD) are worth exploring.
