Abstract

The rise in prediabetes leading to diabetes is placing substantial strains on health care systems in terms of management complications. People with prediabetes are significantly less likely to develop the disease if their blood glucose levels are normalized early. This includes early diagnosis and interventions, in which NP's can intervene.
