Abstract
A descriptive comparative study design was used to evaluate whether dominant personality characteristic, decision-making style, demographic factors, and/or advanced specialty certification predicted the ability of nurse practitioners to prescribe according to the National Cancer Center Network (NCCN) guidelines for assessment and treatment of cancer pain.
