Abstract

Pender"s Health Promotion Model guides the study that examines associations of sociodemographic factors with cardiovascular disease risk levels (CVDRL) and the factors that predict CVDRL among adult West Africans in the United States. Multivariate regressions and Path analysis were used to determine predictors of CVDRL. Nurses must reevaluate existing interventions.
