STOP sanitize to omit pathogens
Abstract
Improper stethoscope hygiene can greatly contribute to the spread of hospital acquired infections (Gazibara, Radovanovic, Maric, Rancic, Kisic-Tepavcevic, & Pekmezovic, 2015). This study aims to investigate if nursing students continue the practice of properly cleaning their stethoscopes after clinical experiences as they continue in the program.
