Abstract

It is 25 years since the first randomised controlled trials demonstrated the value of midwife-led care. Covid-19 has raised the profile of midwives and nurse-midwives, and the importance of the care they give. This session will look at the contribution of midwife-led care to quality maternal and newborn care.
