A community-based educational interventions to increase HPV vaccination and cervical cancer screening in Nigeria
Abstract
The uptake of HPV vaccination and cervical screening are low in Nigeria. Evidence suggests lack of awareness, limited knowledge, lack of spousal support and stigma are common barriers. Gender-focused and context-specific low-cost community-based educational interventions are effective in increasing HPV vaccine and cervical screening.
