Abstract
Personal protective equipment (PPE) has played a fundamental role in protecting healthcare workers and patients, but its effectiveness in reducing hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) during the pandemic remains a subject of debate. This systematic review and meta-analysis explores the impact of COVID-19 precautions on HAIs and its implications for future practice.
