Abstract

Using the Emancipatory Nurse Praxis theory, a comparison of two tools for screening, the TVIT and Medical Assessment Tool will be discussed and recommendations for screening in one time encounters will be introduced. The learner will be introduced to the necessary considerations prior to initiating screening for trafficking in practice.
