Abstract

A collaboration between pharmacy/nursing faculty was created to increase interprofessional education opportunities for pharmacy and BSN nursing students in community based settings. Learning goals included development of knowledge and skills in teamwork, collaboration, and medication safety within community settings. Case studies, simulation, and clinical experiences were teaching methods used.
