Abstract
Like others with chronic conditions, young adults with diabetes transitioning to college may have impaired health and wellness outcomes. A study found that disease-specific student organizational support positively impacted diabetes health and wellness outcomes. Nursing plays a pivotal role in transitioning from a clinic, academic, and policy perspective.
