Abstract

Using motion capture technology, we tested a lifting intervention to determine its learnability. High risk movements increase the risk for musculoskeletal injury, and this intervention shows a direct reduction in these biomechanical risk factors. After a month, individuals remembered the techniques and risk for musculoskeletal injury was reduced.

Testing the learnability of a lifting intervention to aid in patient transfer using motion capture
