Abstract
A call to action has been made for colleges of nursing to prepare nurses to practice with cultural competence. Integration of a Collaborative International Online Learning (COIL) project into the nursing curriculum is an innovative teaching methodology for increasing cultural competence and preparation as leaders in improving global health.
