The 2018 AAC&U report on high impact academic practices and the 2010 IOM Future of Nursing Report both call for evidence-based curricular innovations for nurses in complex health care environments. This session explores the use and outcomes of HIPs in nursing education, transition into practice, and hospital-based nurse residency programs.
