Abstract

Patient falls have long been a concern in the healthcare industry and they account for unnecessary patient injuries and organizational expenditures. However, with the use of an appropriate set of customizable fall reduction tools, limiting or eliminating patient falls may be accomplished. Early patient fall risk identification may be key.
