Abstract
The purpose of this project is to follow Diabetes Self-Management Education guidelines to educate and support vulnerable populations regarding the need for daily foot inspections, decreasing the incidence of NLEA through the use of a diabetes-specific DHIs. These applications can provide daily foot inspection reminders for patients with Type 2 diabetes and guidance for proper foot care.
