Abstract
The purpose of the Nurse Leader Virtual Summit is to provide an avenue for nurse leaders from various Sigma Academies and Nightingale Challenge to disseminate their leadership journey.
This session features Laurie Kennedy-Malone, PhD, GNP-BC, FAANP, FGSA, FAAN . Dr. Kennedy-Malone has been a certified gerontological nurse practitioner since 1982 and a professor of nursing at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro since 1990. Laurie has been a member of Sigma since 1982 and an active member of the Gamma Zeta Chapter. She is a past president of the chapter and currently serving for the second time as Vice President. She has participated in three of Sigma's mentoring programs as a mentor. She is a member of Sigma's Renewable Gifts Committee.
